Journey to my fire Medicine Doll
I met Melissa of The Nature Within through the Liquid Crystals many many years ago. It has been so great to see her commence her craft of felting. She was then able to bring through medicine dolls with intuition and skill like I have never seen before. To begin with I was not drawn to purchase one for myself, but then through watching You Tube videos of Melissa creating the medicine dolls I began to really understand the process involved and the heart and soul that Melissa puts into creating her magical creatures.

In early October 2020 Melissa posted the photo to the left with a new fibre she had purchased for a custom medicine doll. She wrote the following about the fibre and future doll:
‘Who will dare to climb onto the back of the Phoenix and rise anew by claiming their own Fire Element Medicine Doll ?!
(This will be aligned only to you) but the beauty in this Doll is she will be crafted without you knowing exactly what she will behold for you until completion.
Do you trust yourself enough to weave this journey of fate ?’
Gotta say ~ I was hooked, both with the colours of the fibre and those words. I messaged straight away and was lucky enough to secure the spot.
I know that patience is not one of my strong suits, but the process of waiting for the doll to begin has not bothered me at all.
Melissa has a long list of people waiting for a custom doll and my fire medicine doll was able to be started in March 2021. Throughout the whole process Melissa has kept me involved, requesting that I think about what fire means to me. Whilst waiting I took the Fire Element Trinity (a liquid crystal trinity) and what can I say it has been quite the journey.
My psychic gifts do not include vision whilst awake but I do have very vivid dreams. I remember one dream from years ago where I was reading a book and the running my fingers under a line in a page of the book. The words read ‘the way to the fiery path is via the black obsidian skull’ and as I was running my fingers along the words they were lighting up (almost as if there was the fire of the sun shining through the words from behind coming to the surface). This really activated something in me then.
Fire for me is also about creativity so I took Carnelian and Carnelian Skull whilst waiting for the medicine doll to be started. In the last 6 months Creativity has been huge, the ideas I have had for this business and what I want to create have been massive. Its like a a TV reel on steroids of images and things that come to me. I have lists upon lists of what I want to create and birth into the world.

I felt her name come through a few weeks before she was sent to me, almost with a heavy Russian European accent. So I spelt it the way it sounds. I am so very happy with all the details of how she looks, how she feels and what she is here to do to help me in my journey of life. I am so very grateful I said YES to Melissa and her creative talents.
